Everyone who owns or is considering owning a premium powerful e-scooter knows Dualtron Thunder. The absolute best-seller of high end, high-performance electric scooters for the past 2 years.

In pursuit of continuous evolution, Minimotors went back to the drawing board and decided to take this legendary e-scooter even further by imagining a remastered version of Thunder and developed the all new Dualtron Thunder 2.

Thunder 2 has everything that made Thunder an overwhelming success and then added a hell of lot more. The designers and developers at Minimotors listened to their international community and considered every point with this vastly improved new model. More power, improved handling, increased run time, and thew in a bunch of great additional design features to take this legendary model to a new level.

Fitted with a huge, high voltage 72V/40AH LG battery assembled from the latest 21700 premium performance cells, Thunder 2 can deliver remarkable consistent power over a vast distance of up to 150 km. (riding style, rider weight, and terrain dependant)

The new overtaking function allows the rider to unleash 10080W of shear power from the dual proprietary motors with just a couple of presses on the EY3 throttle, releasing extreme torque / acceleration on demand, and a top speed in excess of 100Kmh (speed limited in Australia to 25Kmh)

Built upon the tough, tried, and proven aircraft grade Thunder Chassis combined with the updated Storm headset and steering arm, Thunder 2 will handle the roughest terrain. A newly designed footrest has also been added to assist with rider stability when accelerating, which also doubles up as a visible taillight and adds a new visible dimension to this already great looking scooter.

Minimotors 5 in 1 control panel has been included with Thunder 2, which allows riders to easily control lighting, turbo/eco function and more while on the move.

Newly designed “No Flat Tyres” have been fitted, preventing punchers, and maximizing the tyre lifespan like never before.

The folding mechanism of Thunder 2 has been further improved from the original Thunder, with the inclusion of double clamp coupling and a one-piece steering arm / lower hinge assembly.

Additional RGB LED lighting has been integrated into the frame side panels and swingarms which compliments the fantastic lighting already found on Thunder, and a new high wearing rubber membrane has been added to deck for improved rider traction and aesthetic appeal.

Of course, all the great features that customers loved about Thunder have been retained and included with Thunder 2.
